I always feel so special as the winter olympics are always at my birthday time! I wish I could purchase clothing but we in the USA can't purchase what we want from the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Store -- that is a true bummer! Thanks for keeping us all so informed. It's wonderful and a great escape from the crazy daily grind.

New Vancouver 2010 Olympic media pin

Hello my fellow pinheads,

I would like to impart some information about a new pin. This would be of particular interest for those of you out there that collect Olympic media pins.

NBC has produced a 1 Year to Go pin for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. The pin looks awesome and it comes in a plastic box with a sticker on the back that identifies the number of each pin. This pin is a limited edition pin. They are only producing 1,000 of these pins. There is a catch though. And that is that when you order you have to prepay and they will only ship the pin in March ’09. The cost for the pin is $15.00 US plus applicable postage.

Just go to the NBC website and type the word Olympic in the search engine and you will have to drill down but it is there.

Happy hunting and check out my site at www.pincollectorssite.com

Cheers
